I've been using the Evernote Notetaking application for about 3 months now and I absolutely love it! Evernote is more than a simple notetaking application because it allows you to create a note from anything...photo, web page, text note, pdf file, etc.

All of your notes are organized in notebooks and can be tagged in addition to being organized by notebook. I have tried other notetaking applications in the past but the reason I really use Evernote is because it is so easy for me to create notes from whatever my current location may be.

If I am on the go, I can create notes from my phone by sending photos, text notes, web links or screen shots directly from my phone to the Evernote notebook of my choice.

From my computer, I can use the webclipper icon to send any highlighted text or images to the notebook of my choice, the Clip to Evernote toolbar icon to send the current webpage, or I can simply open the desktop or web versions of the application to create a new note.

They give you 40mb of note space for free each month and you can get a lot more space for only $5 per month. There are also a ton of other great features (too many to describe when I am this exhausted from a full day of work.)

Go to www.evernote.com to check out Evernote for free!

I've been so swamped with work over the past month I haven't had an opportunity to blog or to spend much time checking out the latest in tech. I've been quickly saving interesting looking blog titles and webpages to Evernote and had an opportunity to start reviewing them this weekend.

One of the neat websites I found was Wordle.net. Wordle creates art from words! I entered my blog url and it created art from the words in my blog. I also created one for my twitter timeline. You don't have to use a url but I think those are most interesting because they give you a quick snapshot of the dialog on a particular website.

Try it out for yourself!

Well after going to the AT&T Store at 7:30 am this morning to discover a line wrapped around the building I realized I was not going to be able to get an iPhone 3G today. I fumed at work for about 4 hours and left after lunch to work from home for the afternoon.

Since I was sitting at home I decided to upgrade my first generation phone to the 2.0 software. 2 1/2 hours later, I had an upgraded phone with 10 new applications. It was extremely frustrating dealing with the slammed iTunes servers for reactivation but all is forgotten now as I love the 2.0 software.

The App Store is fabulous and my favorite application is the Twitterific native application. I will actually be able to turn off all SMS notfications with this application. Also, really loving Truphone, WeatherBug, Remote and Whrrl. I plan to check out more applications tomorrow but right now I'm debating whether or not I even need to upgrade my phone.
