Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 3:20PM ...I noticed I'm no where near as skinny as I thought. At home, my full length mirror makes me look at lot skinnier than the dresser mirror in my guest room today. Even worse, since I'm not home and packed lightly, I can't even change into clothes that might make up for the extra pounds this mirror seems to have packed onto me today.
I am now counting down the hours until I can get home and workout.
Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 1:11AM I saw the funniest show on A&E yesterday about the Pennsylvania Parking Authority. The entire show is about fiesty parking authority workers who don't give anyone a break....even giant delivery trucks for one of the most recognized international companies!
Take a look!
Thursday, November 27, 2008 at 12:50AM This morning I was awakened at 6 am by a Barge horn (or whatever they have). Why a barge would need to blow it's horn at 6 am is beyond my comprehension especially with a hotel sitting right on the river.
After I opened my eyes, however, I was glad the horn woke me. The sunrise over the Tennessee River was so beautiful I got up to take a quick photo.
You don't see much of the river because I had a 10.5 Fisheye on my camera and at 6 am I'm not digging through my bag for a new lense to use but it was beautiful none the less!
Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 2:12PM I've been using the Evernote Notetaking application for about 3 months now and I absolutely love it! Evernote is more than a simple notetaking application because it allows you to create a note from anything...photo, web page, text note, pdf file, etc.
All of your notes are organized in notebooks and can be tagged in addition to being organized by notebook. I have tried other notetaking applications in the past but the reason I really use Evernote is because it is so easy for me to create notes from whatever my current location may be.
If I am on the go, I can create notes from my phone by sending photos, text notes, web links or screen shots directly from my phone to the Evernote notebook of my choice.
From my computer, I can use the webclipper icon to send any highlighted text or images to the notebook of my choice, the Clip to Evernote toolbar icon to send the current webpage, or I can simply open the desktop or web versions of the application to create a new note.
They give you 40mb of note space for free each month and you can get a lot more space for only $5 per month. There are also a ton of other great features (too many to describe when I am this exhausted from a full day of work.)
Go to www.evernote.com to check out Evernote for free!
